Next E-Bike Safety Presentation November 30

If your child plans to ride an e-bike (Type 1 and Type 2 only) to school, or you anticipate purchasing an e-bike for your child in the coming months, they must attend a safety presentation in order to park their e-bike on campus. The next training will be held at Venado Middle School on Thursday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the Knights Plaza.  A parent must accompany their student and be present during the entirety of the presentation.  Students will then be given an opportunity to register their e-bike and receive their permit sticker.  If you have an e-bike, go ahead and bring it with you to the presentation and we can register the e-bike on the spot. If your child will be getting an e-bike later, perhaps during the holidays, you may still attend the presentation and then register the e-bike upon receipt. No other safety presentation is scheduled for the remainder of the year.

Please note that other e-vehicles, such as e-skateboards, Type 3 e-bikes, and e-scooters require students to be 16 years old, so those vehicles cannot be used at Venado.
