In order to promote school spirit and pride, boost students’ involvement at school and just have fun, Spirit Days will be held every Friday this school year, unless otherwise announced. Spirit Days range from wearing our school colors of black and gold, to other dress up themes. Each trimester, a competition is held between 4th period classrooms for the highest percentage of student/teacher participation. Lunchtime activities related to the dress-up day theme are also planned. At the end of the trimester, the winning class will win a pizza and ice cream party.

Here are the Spirit Day themes for October:

* October 5: Pink Out (Wear Pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month & head to Irvine High School’s Football game that night!)

* October 12: Endless Summer Dance Theme (Wear Blue, Green and Yellow to represent the ocean, grass and sun)

* October 19: Black & Gold

* October 26: Red for Red Ribbon Week

* October 31: Halloween Costumes
