Spelling Bee

Venado students will be taking part in a school-wide Spelling Bee, with the winners advancing to the Orange County Spelling Bee sponsored by the O.C. Register.  To start the process, each English teacher will determine the top spellers in their classes, and on November 16, the Venado Spelling Bee will be held at 3:15 p.m. in the Knights Plaza, by invitation only.  The winners will then compete at the county level in February, with a chance to win cash awards and possibly a trip to Washington, D.C. to represent Orange County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
