May 8 - 12: CAST grade 8 only during Science classes

In the event that a student needs additional time or was absent for any part of the test, make-ups will begin the week of May 1 and we may ask that students come to school early during the late start period to avoid them missing instructional time.

Helping Your Child Prepare for Testing

Here are some tips to help prepare your child for testing:

• Your child needs to bring his/her fully charged Chromebook and a personal reading book each day of testing. 

• Please make sure your child attends school on-time, each day this week.

• Talk about the tests and encourage your child to try their best.

• Take a practice test with your child at http://www.caaspp.org/practice-and-training/index.html.

• Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and a nutritious breakfast before testing.
