Irvine Parent Education Programs
- April 9, 2019 - 12:00am
Irvine Parent Education Programs (IPEP) are FREE educational workshops offered to Irvine parents throughout the school year. Our goal is to empower parents with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their child’s education. Officer Cronin offered insight into teen cyber safety and vaping at our March Parent Night. Here are some upcoming workshops.
Substance Abuse and Vaping
Irvine High School PTSA invites you to attend a presentation by Mr. Stephan Lambert, the Orange County Department of Education's Prevention Coordinator, on vaping and other issues regarding substance abuse on Tuesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. in the Irvine High School Theater. There is a growing concern about youth vaping, especially on school campuses. Jim Wright, the IHS
School Resource Officer will also be present to provide his perspective. Please see attached flyer for more details.

We also have a parent informational workshop for Naviance for our high school parents with students starting the college search on April 8 at the Learning Center at 3387 Barranca Parkway Irvine, CA 92606 (Room 1) from 9:30- 11 a.m.
