Irvine Junior Games

Attention Venado students and parents! It’s that time of year again! Registration for the 34th annual Irvine Junior Games has begun. The Irvine Junior Games (IJG) is a one-day track and field event for 4th through 8th graders that will be held on Sunday, May 7. Students from Irvine will again show their support for the Irvine Children’s Fund (ICF) Track and Field fundraising event. Money raised by the Games is used to provide child care scholarships and help meet the varying needs of IUSD elementary school child care sites.

In order to compete in this event, students must register by March 17. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a great cause and a chance to compete against students from different middle schools in Irvine. All registration will be completed online at www.IrvineJuniorGames.org. There is a $40 entry fee that includes an IJG 2020 athlete T-shirt, track clinic, and free day at Camp James ($75 value). Scholarships are available if needed.  Remember, the deadline to register is March 17!
