First Annual Parent-Student Book Club: February 22, 6:00-7:00 pm

The Venado Middle School Language Arts Department is hosting a new event, a Parent-Student reading night. Each student and his/her participating adult reader will read the entire book, either Schwa Was Here, by Neil Schusterman or Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech. Parents, students, and staff will meet at the Knights Plaza for fun literary sessions and games. Students will earn tickets for awesome raffle prizes!

*** The books chosen were selected with care, but it is the responsibility of the parent to help the student decide which book would be appropriate.  Our book club is voluntary, independent reading.
