ENGLISH LEARNER ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

If you are the parent of an English Learner, we would love to have you join us for our second English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meeting of the year on Thursday, November 15, from 8:45-10:00 a.m. This month, we are excited to hold our meeting in conjunction with Venado’s Parent Engagement Workshop.

We will spend about 15 minutes at the start of the workshop covering ELAC specific topics and discussing answers to questions generated during our last meeting. Then we will move into the workshop time where you will have the opportunity to be trained on Chromebooks by EdTech TOSAs from the IUSD IT Department. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have about navigating Canvas and Parent Portal.

Attend this informational meeting to engage with your child’s school and learn how we can all work as a team to enhance your child’s success.
