ENGLISH LEARNER ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The next meeting of Venado’s English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. The meeting will be held at 3:15 p.m. in room 113. The ELAC is a group designed specifically for parents of English Learners. The ELAC seeks to provide information and explanation of educational tests, student requirements, and school governance that are important to English Learner students. Among the topics to be discussed at the meeting is information regarding several state tests which will be given in the spring, including the ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessment for California) and CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress).
