8th Grade Promotion Party

The Promotion Party will be held at Venado on Thursday, May 25 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Only current 8th grade students from Venado Middle School, who have maintained their eligibility, are permitted to attend the party.  The party is sponsored by the PTSA and is free of charge.  Students will need to arrive at the party no later than 5:15 p.m.  If for some reason your child must arrive later than 5:15 p.m. or you will be picking your child up before the party ends at 7:00 p.m., please notify the main office in writing prior to Friday, May 19 so that we can make arrangements.  Otherwise, all students are expected to remain at the party until 7:00 p.m. 

Theme of the Party: Let’s Glow!  Wear white or neon colored clothing to glow under the black lights. Clothing must meet the Venado dress code requirements.  All school rules apply at the party.  Please pick up students promptly at the end of the party.

Donations for the Promotion Party: The Bake Sale during Open House was a great success.  We were able to raise $1,000 to go towards the party!  With the combined funds from the PTSA, Open House fundraising and donations, we have $3000.  However, with approximately 300 8th graders, we will need additional funds to cover expenses.  We have set up a Donation Page and would appreciate your continued support and contributions.
