Listed below are important action items for all of our incoming 8th grade families:

Review Venado Middle School’s Course Descriptions document.

To learn more about our elective class offerings, review the Electives Program and Visual and Performing Arts Slide Decks. These documents have rich information for students and families that will assist with elective course request selections.

Submit elective course requests between Friday, April 21 and Friday, May 5 by completing the Elective Course Requests Form.
On Monday, April 24, teachers will also review this important information with students during Advisement. Elective classes are not assigned on a first come, first served basis. Once requests are submitted, changes are not permitted, so please take time to consider your requests carefully with your child. Parents who do not submit elective course requests will have elective classes assigned to their students. We really want to avoid doing this, so please submit your request by the deadline.
