“6th Grade Visit” Assembly 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. at Venado
On Friday, April 19, we will be hosting a special assembly for all incoming 7th graders. Due to space limitations, this assembly is for students and teachers only. Students will learn about their new school and about classes, including electives, programs, etc. for next year. School spirit is very important and a big part of student life at Venado. Please encourage your child to wear our school colors (black and gold/yellow) that day. Prizes will be awarded to students who show the most school spirit.
If your child attends College Park, Deerfield, or Greentree Elementary Schools, they will be walking to Venado with their teacher and class. Students from other elementary schools are also invited, but parents will need to sign their children out of the elementary school and provide transportation to and from Venado for the assembly. Students should arrive at Venado at 8:45 a.m. Students will also need to be signed out by parents at the end of the assembly at approximately 9:45 a.m.
