Donation Drive

Our annual Direct Donation Drive is in full swing. To date, we have raised $8,808.00 toward our $17,000 goal to replace aging Chromebooks and other computer equipment at Venado. Thank you so much to those who have already generously donated. We’re hoping each of our Venado families will make a donation of $100, or an amount of their choosing, to benefit a cause that will directly impact the classroom. All donations are strictly voluntary. You can make an on-line donation at https://www.venadoptsa.org/donation-drive/ or via cash/check. As an added incentive, if students turn in 95% of donation envelopes (whether a donation is made or not), students will earn a Ninja Nation Obstacle Course through P.E. Ninja Nation is the leading provider of world class obstacle courses and experiences across the country. All donation are strictly voluntary. The donation drive will continue through November 15. Thank you for your partnership and generosity!

Reflections

We had 16 Venado students participating in this year’s Reflections competition.

Thank you to all the students who submitted their wonderful work for this years Reflections theme of "Look Within.” Your amazing submissions made for difficult decisions for the judging panel. We're pleased to announce the following students submissions are moving on to the district level:

Music Composition: Lauren W. "Daybreak"

Dance Choreography: Phoebe L. "Inside"

Photography: Xiaoan T. "Prisoner"

Film Production: Aashay M. :The Price We Will Pay"

Literature: Jacqueline Z. "40 Years of Change"

Visual Arts: Ella C. "Choices"

The remaining submissions are available at the Venado Front Office for pick-up. Thank you all for participating and sharing your artistic vision for this year's Reflections.

We’d like to thank our Reflections parent volunteer chairs, Romi Garg and Cindy Schmude, for coordinating this creative yet highly time-consuming program for Venado!
