As you will read in our News Center, Venado students and staff have been very busy competing in local and regional competitions. Participation in these events would not have been possible without the various staff members who volunteered their time and energy supporting and preparing students for these events. I would like to thank Mr. Bob Evans for serving as coordinator for Astounding Inventions and serving as staff sponsor to IUSD’s Science Fair, Ms. Worthy, who served as the Mathcounts Advisor and Ms. Rebecca Valentine and the English Language Arts (ELA) team for organizing this year’s Spelling Bee. I would also like to thank Mrs. Rebecca Venlet for helping to prepare students for the wonderful music performances this month. Thanks, once again, to all of these individuals for their efforts and support of our students!
