The Venado Middle School PTSA Nominating Committee is looking for parents interested in being a part of the Venado PTSA Executive Board for 2024-25 school year. Open positions include:
President
Vice President, Membership
Vice President, Ways and Means
Secretary
Treasurer
Financial Secretary
Financial Secretary
Historian
Parliamentarian (appointed by the President)
The description of duties for each position can be found at this link. Board positions at Venado Middle School PTSA requires a much less time commitment, meetings are once a month.
All positions will be elected by the Venado PTSA at the April 16, 2024, PTSA meeting, except for Parliamentarian, who is appointed by the President. The only requirements are that the candidate:
· Will have a child attending Venado Middle School in 2024-25 school year;
· Is a member of the Venado PTSA or their child’s current elementary school PTA for 30 days preceding the Election Meeting; and
· Is willing to perform duties of the position; training will be provided by IUCPTA.
