The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD)’s 42nd Annual Science Fair has been live since January 23 and features a range of innovative science projects from IUSD students in grades 6-12, including students enrolled in the IUSD Virtual Academy. Over 170 Sixth Grade projects, and about 80 Middle School projects were submitted, and they can be viewed on the IUSD website under Science Events.
STEM professionals from the IUSD community, teacher advisors, and District office staff will evaluate each project to determine which are eligible to advance to the virtual Orange County Science and Engineering Fair. All participants will be recognized at their school sites. Students with exceptional projects will be invited to attend an awards ceremony. The Middle and High School Awards Reception will be held on Feb 15 at Jeffrey Trail Middle School at 5:30 p.m.
