We’re observing an increase of violations of some of our school rules. Please remind your child of the following expectations:

Cell phones need to be powered off (not just silenced) and put away throughout the school day.

Headphones/earbuds also should be put away.

Students need to follow our dress code. We are seeing many students wearing shirts that expose their midriffs, and that violates our dress code. Additionally, students need to take their hoods off while in the building and in classrooms.

Venado is a gum-free zone.
We follow our progressive behavior management process starting with a warning of the expected behaviors, and then additional consequences if the behaviors continue. Please ensure your child is aware of the school rules (see Student Handbook). Thank you for your support.
