As you may be aware, we broke ground last June on a state of the art science building, which will include 5 science classrooms. The project is funded by Measure E. I am happy to report that the foundation was poured, walls are being erected and the construction crew is in the process of building the roof. The project is slated to be completed by June 2019. This year’s 7th grade students will be the first students to have their science classes in the new building as 8th graders next year. If your child is an 8th grader, please keep in mind that there is a significant amount of Measure E work at Irvine High School.
