Since Venado teachers use technology a great deal and students at times are expected to complete assignments online, internet access becomes a necessity. Cox’s Connect2Compete program brings discounted Internet service to qualifying households. To be considered for the Connect2Compete program, applicants must meet and verify the following requirements:

* Have at least one K-12 student living in the household

* Participate in one of the following: the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), SNAP, TANF or Public Housing

* Have not subscribed to Cox High Speed Internet service in the last 90 days.

* No outstanding Cox bills or unreturned equipment.

Eligible families can apply online or by calling 1-855-222-3252.
