Venado Middle School will be practicing our Lockdown Drill procedures with all students and staff on Tuesday, March 26 during unstructured time, such as a passing period, break, or lunch, when students are not already in classroom settings. To prepare for this drill and mitigate unnecessary concern from students, we reviewed our procedures in Homeroom classes yesterday, and we will make daily announcements in preparation for the drill. Safety is paramount at Venado and it’s important to practice our responses to these scenarios in a variety of situations. Thank you for your support.
