One of the many traditions we are proud of at Venado is our HONOR Assembly program. HONOR Assemblies, which are held three times per year, give us an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our students for making the Principal's and Assistant Principal’s Honor Rolls and for receiving an HONOR Award (for academic and athletic achievement or for citizenship.) The assemblies also give us an opportunity to celebrate other student or staff accomplishments. We held our first trimester HONOR Awards on December 4, 2018. I am excited to report that 42% of our students made the Principal's Honor Roll (GPA of 3.75 to 4.0) and 38% of our student body make the Assistant Principal's Honor Roll (GPA of 3.0 to 3.74). A whopping 80% of our students made either the Principal’s or the Assistant Principal’s Honor Rolls. That’s remarkable! Please join me in congratulating these students for working so hard and earning such strong grades. We are so very proud of our students! The second trimester HONOR assembly will be held on March 19, 2019.
