The Exchange Club of Irvine, in cooperation with the Irvine Unified School District and the Irvine Teachers Association, recognizes and publicly commends the excellent teachers of the IUSD at the Excellence in Teaching Awards Ceremony held every spring.
Each IUSD school selects a representative to the Excellence in Teaching Awards Ceremony. Candidates selected possess the following qualities:
● Evidence of a wide range of instructional strategies
● Commitment to the teaching profession
● Demonstration of Irvine teacher’s values of integrity, empowerment, learning, collaboration, and trust
This year we are honored to have Mr. Harry Meussner, Social Science Teacher, represent Venado at the Excellence in Teaching Awards Ceremony. Mr. Meussner was selected by his fellow certificated staff members at Venado because he embodies all the qualities of a great teacher. Congratulations, Mr. Meussner!
