On behalf of the Venado Middle School staff, I would like to extend a very sincere thank you to everyone who made donations during our Fall Direct Donation Drive. We smashed the record of previous Direction Donation Drives by raising a staggering $19,101! We are so incredibly grateful to our supportive and generous parent community. With your assistance, we will continue making significant investments in Chromebooks so students and staff always have access to state of the art technology and Venado continues to be a technology-rich school.
As you know, a Ninja Nation Obstacles Course was the school-wide reward offered to students for turning in 95% of donation envelopes. Although students only turned in 62% of donation envelopes, we did meet and surpass our goal of raising $17,000. As such, we are pleased to announce that students have earned a Ninja Nation Obstacle Course! We are currently working with Ninja Nation to identify a date later this school year for the event. It should be really fun!
I would also like to thank PTSA President, Laura Lodin, PTSA VP, Susan Fong and PTSA Treasurer, Marci Garrett for all their efforts with our Fall Direct Donation Drive!
