During November, ten of our DHH students have been busy preparing for a Middle School reading competition called “Battle of the Books.” This is a national reading competition for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students sponsored by Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. On November 20 and 21, our two teams competed against other Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs/schools. Our Blue team took on Utah School for the Deaf, California School for the Deaf in Fremont, and New Mexico School for the Deaf. They did very well and won each match.
