We are excited to announce that we plan to hold an in-person Promotion Ceremony to celebrate our 2021 Venado 8th graders. Aligned with state and local guidelines for gatherings, we will host an on-campus physically distanced ceremony, on or near our originally scheduled date of June 4. We plan to invite our 8th grade students in both models (hybrid and IVA) to this voluntary celebration, and the event may need to be divided into cohorts. We will include in our plans, based on space availability, the opportunity to have each student have a family member or two in attendance. We will also look at options for recording the event to share with families. This is exciting news for our 8th grade students and their families! In the coming months, we will continue to closely monitor health guidelines and work with the Orange County Health Care Agency to provide updates as they become available. Specifics for the event may be subject to change depending on adjustments in the state and local COVID-19 guidelines.
