Congratulations to the Venado Boys and Girls who participated in the 16th Annual Hoops Classic Basketball Tournament! We would like to commend all the players for showing true Venado Spirit, and doing their absolute best in the tournament. Venado had two teams participate this year. Our 7th and 8th grade girls combined to form one team and our 8th grade boys formed another team. We would like to extend a big thank you to the players and parents for their enthusiastic support and cooperation in making this a fun and exciting event, and to the City of Irvine for hosting this great event. We would especially like to thank Mr. Juan Luis Viola, Mr. Jim Gwaltney, Mr. Suhas Gujarathi, and Mr. Charles Harrell for volunteering to be our coaches. We truly appreciate all of their hard work in coaching the teams from Venado.
