The Venado Middle School Nominating Committee is looking for anyone interested in serving as part of the Venado PTSA board for 2023-24 school year. All positions are open and include:

President

Vice president, Membership

Vice President, Ways and Means
-
Secretary
-
Treasurer
-
Financial Secretary
-
Auditor
-
Historian
-
Parliamentarian (appointed by the President)
The description of duties for each position can be found at this link. Board positions at Venado PTSA typically require much less time commitment than similar positions at the elementary schools.
All positions will be elected by the Venado PTSA at the April 17, 2023, PTSA meeting, except for Parliamentarian, who is appointed by the President. The only requirements are that the candidate:

Will have a child attending Venado Middle School in 2023-24 school year;

Is a member of the Venado PTSA or their child’s current elementary school PTA for 30 days preceding the Election Meeting; and
-
Is willing to perform duties of the position; training will be provided by the District.
